This industrial built power supply short killer can be used to supply 0-05V up to 30A with over voltage and over current protection. The Voltage injection power supply is heavy duty and is built with short circuit detection in mind. It can be used to inject voltage and current to a specific component on a motherboard that is shorting to ground. By injecting voltage to a shorted component, you you can quickly tell which component is getting hot and where the short is coming from.

When working with short circuit, start with 1v and make your way up in small increments as needed. You should never use the device at it’s max voltage setting when working with short circuits. If you are using the device as a power supply where you do not have a short circuit, then you can up the voltage accordingly.
