A desolder braid is used to absorb and remove solder. The connection is heated with a soldering iron and solder gets absorbed by the braid Wick. This is the same wick we use in our shop and on all our youtube repair videos. The braid is thick, solid, and holds together very well unlike cheap competition that fall apart during use. Braid length is 10ft x 0.26cm.
