water damaged Nintendo Switch

I have a water damaged switch, after cleaning the corrosion off it charges at 0.6a @5V but that doesn't seem right to me. I checked all caps around the main ICs like m92 PI3USB but no short anywhere. Any guess what it could be? Should i change the M92?

You have to try all options. Start with areas that have visible signs of liquid or corrosion. Make sure you are using a PD charger with meter to test. If you have our charging station, you should get 12v when switch is plugged in and after few seconds voltage will drop down to to 9v if the switch is working properly. Getting stuck at 12v 0.6 is not good. In your case, it appears that you may be using a 5V supply. Thanks for the reply, my charger is a PD one with QC 3.0 so it can charge at 12v but its stays at 5v 0.6a, after my experience that means the chip which handle the negotiation is faulty am i right?

Any signs of corrosion are already cleaned of, the most was around the M92 and the battery connector. What i should mention, the battery was shorted out as seen on the heat shield and even the display. Changing it didnt help, still stuck at 5V 0.6a so my belief is the M92 or BQ24193 but i search for a bit of confirmation 😀
