i was wondering if i can remove the nand chip and put in another device of the same model, will it work ? can i recovere the data from it ?

I'd like to request more information like the brand and model of the drive, a picture of the drive maybe, even a screen capture of the Hardware information of the drive in "Device Manager" (this would be in "Manage" from "This PC" then "Device Manager" it would be under "Disk drives" and/or "Universal Serial Bus controllers" if it's being extra rude...)

(If it looks anything worse than "Picklesounds Unicorn USB", then yeah save us all and don't post a picture of the drive...)
