I have been asking this question for a while, leaving it in the comments on many videos by many people and no one has seen the question or if they did they didn't bother with it. QQ1. When upgrading RAM I find conflicting results when looking for the maximum Gig's. Manuals, spec sheets say max is 8 or 16 Gb. However when using the command - wmic memphysical get maxcapacity... Yup... 33554432 KB is the result. So 33554432 KB / 1024 = 32768MB, 32768MB / 1024 = 32 GB. I am learning how to do repairs and upgrades so I can open my own shop. That cannot happen if I cannot properly diagnose or comprehend results from machines. Q2. Sometimes the manuals and information you are looking for are not provided by the production company. (Gateway manuals have almost no needed info) Can you provide any links that I can input the brand, make and model and get useful information? Like an example Gateway NV76R and find out what is and isn't compatible. I cant put any screen that is the same size in or just replace a digitizer. Or what processor I can upgrade to. Is there a site where I can compare machines and will cross reference any compatible parts between those machines? Or am I on to something? Should I start that endeavor to try and build that?
