I'm having this problem.  Maybe I am doing something wrong, but if anyone out there can help me please do.  Now this is the problem.  After finding the short on any motherboard, I inject voltage (starting at 1.2volts and 3amps), I then use the thermal camera to detect which  component is drawing the heat. I noticed that where I have my probe is drawing all the heat every time, so I can never find the shorted component.  Am I the only one having this problem? Or what am I doing wrong? I am using the NF.Short Power Supply Short Injection / Detector with Voltage and Current and the Uni-T UTi260B Thermal Imaging Camera with macro lens.
