I replaced the screen now it turns on for a sec then it goes black but laptop stays powered on

buy a new laptop. MSI are bad!!!!

First check the connection for the screen to be sure that it is seated correctly. Also, why the need for the replacement? Perhaps the problem is not the screen but the video circuit. Try using an external monitor to verify that the video section is working. With the laptop still "on", I would focus the video circuits.
