I have an LG Ultrafine 5K Monitor. It has a thunderbolt 3 / usb c port that has been split (picture attached). I'm just wondering what kind of repair this would require? I took it to one place and they quoted me at $600+ to replace the entire motherboard + labor. Would there be an easy to just remove the current connector and solder a new one on? I don't know much about repairs, excuse my ignorance. Seems like an expensive repair for a simple problem.
