Hi, I have been watching your channel, and I appreciate the content. I have an iPad Pro 12.9 1st gen with LTE that keeps rebooting. It will boot all the way up, but will reboot and interrupt about anything you do. The OS has been restored to factory, and I am not able to update the software because it reboots before I can update it. Also, it seems to be worse after logging into WIFI. Then, when I reset network settings to default, it reboots less often. (Maybe that just has to do with WIFI consuming more energy if there is a weak component?)
What I would like to know, is do you think it would behave this way because of a physical issue or software issue? I have seen you repair rebooting iPads by changing out inductor coils and I have seen others fix rebooting issues by a particular order of button pushes. I would really like to fix this, because I love to learn new skills and am usually pretty capable.
I know you always have a donor board for fixes, but I have not heard you mention if you sell these parts or not. I looked on your website and I did not see them.
Are they all the same, or is each one specific?
Can you direct me to the part I would need?
Thanks for any help
Jason
How often does it reboot? Every 3 minutes?
Yes, I timed it several times today, and it is close to 3 minutes, sometimes less, sometimes more. But on average, 3 minutes is about right.
