Hi everyone I recently bought a laptop in hopes of trying to fix it but I'm a little stumped. When I plug the charger into the laptop I hear a bunch of coil whines (not just from one coil) and the whole board gets hot but the laptop shows no sign of booting up. So the next thing I did was investigate a little further and found an ic with a hole in it. I believe this is the reason the laptop won't turn on but I'm not sure. Can somebody help figure out if that's the reason the laptop won't turn on and where can I get another one?
