Hello, I believe I have a bad capacitor on my flash drive causing it to not be detected. Would I need to replace the capacitor or just remove it to recover the data? If I need to replace it how do I determine what the capacitor is to replace it? I have attached a photo of the capacitor through a microscope I believe to be bad.

Small caps, you don't have to change it. but a big one caps, you should change it. and i recommend you to recover all your data after that drive is comeback to life.
