Hello,

I’m an amateur repair guy, just doing it for a hobby. Got ahold of an asus zepherus with one of your mail in stickers on it. Would you be able to tell me what the result of that mail in repair was? The sticker number is #111034. The seller tells me that they never had someone look at it and it clearly says it was sent in for no power. I can provide a picture but in the interest in privacy for the seller I won’t put it here because it has their information also on the sticker.

We deem a Laptop a No Fix if the problem is not practical or economical to fix, or if the culprit is unknown after spending a reasonable time troubleshooting the device without success. In depth technical details are not given to the customer as it can create confusion and a lot of back and forth communication on something the customer lacks knowledge in such as, if we told the customer the problem originated at u600, the customer will respond with "what exactly is u600 chip and what does it do and how did it burn and what do you think the caused it etc.. it never ends.

I understand, and thank you for the response. I guess I will try my hand at it, as I can spend more time on it than you guys can. I just wondered if you could give me a direction to go. Still need to buy a bench power supply so expect an order from your shop lol.
