After a power surge, it stopped turning on! I press the start button, the fan spins slowly, the screen is black, two LEDs light up! Turned off the mains, pressed the button - again turned it on does not help!

I had a similar issue that I'm still trying to solve months later. I changed the power supply in my iMac and it now turns on however it then shuts off immediately after booting. I hope you get your answer soon I know how frustrating it can be waiting. Good luck and I wish I could be of more help to you but thats why I'm here, to learn.
