Hello,

I need help to identify a QFN 24 pin chip with marking code EAC.

It's use in a Roland multi track recorder.

Any help will help.

What does it do in the circuit and how do you know it's faulty. I couldn't find any information about the code meaning.

Many of the ICs within Roland equipment are custom ICs that wont have generic replacements. Sometimes you can get a schematic, but most times you can't. Snap a picture and post that if you can. Also, I echo Alex's comment. What makes you believe that this IC is defective? Perhaps posting what is wrong with the recorder may spark some guidance.
