Good afternoon. This component was shorted out on this laptop causing a short on the battery power line. Is it a boost converter? Also, where can I source one? If anyone is selling, please let me know. Thank you

It is SY8386RHC [eH***] 500kHz 6A synchronous buck regulator. It accepts 4.5V to 24V input voltage.
