Hi

Good day to all of this wonderful community

I have a 2 questions.I was changing the Xbox Series X retimer chip and I accidently dropped it and knocked off 2 components.

One of them is a Capacitor C704(Number one on picture) which I need to know the value and the second one marked EG41, I don't know what it is(Number 2 on picture).

Also it would be good to know the C52 value as well.

Thanks to everyone especially to Alex for shaping this wonderful community.

Based on the schematic

C704 - 22 PF 2% 50V NP0 201
C52 - 0.1UF 10% 16V X5R 201
EG41 - DIO SM M1015860-001 (TVS Diode)

Hope this helps.

@jinu

Thank you for your help.that was a huge help.

I have 2 more questions.what happens if I don't replace the EG41(since the line is complete and it's for protection,it should work,right?)and can I use another value for C704?

since we don't have access to many components in my country (Iran) and I don't have donor for series x,I want to know my options.(I have xbox one and ps4 donors)

Anyone else have a take on this?  I have the same issue here. Now that I have schematics, It looks like these are avalanche type or TVS diodes.  Likely reversed biased so as to have little effect on the circuit in normal operation.  They are used shunt excess current once the breakdown or threshold voltage is crossed.  I would tnd to think that it should work without them.  My concern would be if say a static shock were to hit one of the pins.
