All of my soldering irons and tweezers are Hakko units. I used a Weller soldering station for years and then upgraded to the Hakko product line. I have the desoldering gun, the tweezers and micro-pencil all with the multi-head station. I still also have a single Hakko soldering pencil with its own station.

Weller works greats for me. Some complain about Hakko tip alignment. JBC adjustable looks awesome the fact that the tips can be adjusted but again I haven't tried any beside Weller. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, good luck finding a good one other then the 3 mentioned above. If you did find any, keep us posted.

Has any one used
YIHUA 938D Portable Hot Tweezers. Is it worth investing in it

YIHUA 938D is the one i was thinking about.
But i have another yihua station (937d) and it just doesn't work, if i put for instance 320C temp on the station, it barely melt sometimes the soldering wire.. and it is never consistent.
Personally i use ts80 and pinecil and since then im just doing more micro-soldering as hobby and friend helping as those irons are working perfectly for me.

I ll keep looking for a tweezer one then 🙂 thanks

I have these (YIHUA 938D Portable Hot Tweezers). Good low cost option but you get what you pay for. A bit bulky but ok if you only need occasionally.
