Hi,

An other post for a switch I have. Also stuck with this one.

It's a V1 unpatched from a friend of mine.
Behaviour is wierd :

Device is loading well (15v and 0.5A going to 0.8a)
Device turns on. Can play etc

BUT...

when you put it in sleep mode, device draws ~10% battery per hour.
And also, when you plug loader battery icon appears on screen corner top left and blinks (Black screen, backlight with icon).
=> Can share a video if needed.

If device is turned off. Loading is fast and ok.
If device is used during play time, battery behaviour is normal and draws current normally.

I look at the MB. All seems visually OK.
I installed MB in other frame. Same issue.
I checked all chips, BQ seems to load well, and I have 15v on vbus.
I injected 4.2V in VSYS, it draws 185mA after turning on with tweezers on connector.

Don't know what kind of test I can do now.
It sems to be linked to the sleep mode but have not enough info of where to focus.

Perhaps a dead short, a bad device (MAX77620 ?)

Have any idea ?!

Thanks,
Charly

As I had no leads to follow, I blindly changed following chips (new ones) :
- M92T36
- BQ2413
- P13usb
- max 17050 (fuel gauge)
- FPC screen connector

Still have issue...
