Hi,
I have a nintendo switch that doesnt take any charg it doesnt even work on the dock to conect to a TV.
The charging seems OK teste with the pcb tester and it seems not broken or damaged.
I detected a cap shorting to ground near the charge IC. Please check picture.
I removed but still shorted, could that cause not charging and not working in the dock?

Hi,
Just to leave a follow up. I went ahead and replace the power IC it was my first time doing it and it worked the Switch started charging and it also conects to the dock.
