Hi Alex, avid follower here and a fellow repair Tech, I got a Titan MSI Gamer laptop mother board with the above model, shorting on the main power line, some bad repair previously done on the charging port itself with physical damage to the board, customer claims the board worked for 3 years prior and suddenly stopped working( I dont entirely believe this story), these boards are like huge heat sinks and is difficult to replace the charge port,as they suck all the heat, the board is shorting, however when injecting power to the main connector i see nothing lights up under infra red prior to the serial MOSFETS, my assumption that the board itself is damage on the connector side and shorting there due to the prior attempt, I removed the charge port itself to eliminate it from the problem, however, there are no more options, any ideas from your end ?
