I have an iPad 2, Model 1395, that belongs to my daughter. About 10 years ago one of my grandsons put a password on it and then forgot the password. Due to my ignorance, numerous attempts were made to guess the password and now the iPad 2 is disabled. It has irreplaceable pictures on it that we would like to retrieve. At one point, the iPad 2 was paired with a computer that belonged to one of my daughter's friends. But by the time we reached out to the friend, the hard drive on that computer had been reformatted so it was of no use. The iPad 2 has never been opened up or worked on. And there is no backup.

I understand that any data can be downloaded from the nand chip on the iPad 2 but the data is encrypted and that encryption is tied to the cpu. And without the key, it would take forever to try to get by the encryption.

So I am asking if there is any way to get our pictures or get by the disabled status of the iPad 2? We don't really care what happens to the iPad 2 itself. We just want the pictures.

Any help would be appreciated.

Luke
