I was hoping you could assist with a query iv got concerning an Iphone 6s

1. I accidentally dropped the phone (first drop) and the bottom half of the screen has since become unresponsive, the home button works it turns on fine there is no damage to the image display the top half of the screen works but the bottom half doesn't react to touch i have tried removing and reconnecting the ribbon cables but still same fault please could you offer some tips on the possible cause? Also if there is any additional info or photos required im happy to send them through.. Any info would be greatly appreciated thank you
