I was thinking about purchasing a few iPhone 4s from ebay to see if I can fix them if I do a factory reset and wipe the phone will that reset the screen lock? Or should I look for something g else to experiment on. Thanks all
restoring iPhones will get rid of screen lock, but if there is still an Apple ID on the phone, and 99/100 there will be, then youll have to know the password to the Apple ID to remove it.
if you want to work on phones, go with something with value to it, or close at least. 6s is last of the 'connector on top' phones, starting with iPhone 7 connectors are on right side and continue that way on to today. dont waste your money on screen lock, they all have apple IDs in them.
I'm agreed with Florida apple guy, you can't just wipe or reset the iphone to get rid of the Icloud ID Locks.
Iphone 4? Well, I'll suggest you to use the board as a train board. But to fix it, i think it's wasting your time.
