in your video of fixin Ipad air 2 charging port , i can get the wire to hold . I use NC 559 flux and tried iron with 200 - 400 F

If you are using Fahrenheit, then you will need more than that to get the melting point. at least 600F will do the work. and make sure u are using the right and clean iron tip
