Client brought HP 4740s, in mint condition except that touchpad doesnt work, it doesnt work in windows, linux or BIOS (UEFI), its not disabled with orange light on the top left corner or i can disable it.
I check all the cables and connections but found nothing, everything is clean, i get 3V on the touchpad on all spots.
in windows device manager says its detected and working properly, but no activity.
One thing i discoverd cause it may be helpful, is when i connect the touchpad on off light switch with the contiunuity it lights up but it has to be unplugged from the middle board that is card reader and 3,5mm" jacks, when i connect it to that middle board it doesnt light up so its some kind of a short ??? but would it be detected then like here.
