Iam from India. My compaq laptop stopped working making a clicking sound few years back. It seems hard disk head broke. It was checked using compatible pin. Hard disk is not detectable and data not retrievable was the feedback. My data means a lot for me  unfortunately didn't save it anywhere. When ever I use to go on tour I use to keep my laptop in locker and then go. That's more precious to me than anything as it contained memories of my child. I don't know what to do except praying God to make it work somehow. Hoping one fine day someone could resolve it or technology would find new ideas to solve it. I don't have huge finances to pay for recovery companies. Don't know if this can be fixed or not. Please suggest what I can do to get back my kid childhood memories and all the data.
