Hello!

A few days ago I wanted to upgrade the SSD in my laptop. All went normal until I got back to reassembly. What basically happened is that I got the bracket holding the battery connector to the motherboard too far outside and had a short. Thought from the beginning that it might be no good but at a quick visual inspection everything seemed fine. Put everything back together, got Windows installed, it was slow as hell as I had no drivers installed, but the thing is that when having the laptop plugged to power, it says "Connected, not charging" slowly discharging the battery. It now is dead, battery got into protection mode, no voltage reads out of it, and I noticed that the voltage reading is 4.3V, not 20v on the resistor located close to the fan connector on the board, on the charging port side. No power comes to it, no boot even with the battery unplugged.  Behaves depleted, I know I shorted it, but I want to know how can I repair that laptop as I can't afford a new one at this moment and the one I had was very much needed...

PS: If I got any grammar mistakes, feel free to mention it, I am still learning it here in Romania.
