Hello!
I'm just repairing "no power issue" on DELL XPS 9575.
I replaced two USB-C ports, ESD diodes and USB-C controller chip on the motherboard. The computer starts up now, but with no picture on the screen. After a minute or so, the fans start running at full and that's all. Same with the battery only, or with the power supply only, or both.
I tried to disconnect both batteries (main and the small - "bios" battery), then I pressed the power button for about 30 sec and plugged the charger back, but no difference.
Diagnostic mode is working fine!
I just did some research and seems to be the same issue like there:

After 3 years, is there any solution for this issue?
Thanks!!
hello tade
before you doing all staf you make sure about your carger its good ?
after all you cek about dc in its short or not
because usb c its smart port he manage 5V to 19V with smart ic
Thanks for reply!
Yes, as I said, I replaced USB-C IC and +19V is present. Charger is OK! Laptop is "working" in diagnostic mode (key D and power key) - The screen turns on and changes full screen colors; But that's all.
If I turn it on "normally", the keyboard lights up and the fans are spinning. And that's it. The screen stays black.
I'm still looking for a solution ...
Could be corrupted bios I experienced similar issue with HP laptop.
