Hello. I recently got hold of a cheap ryzen 9 5900x with about 30 broken pins. When i got it, the broken pins were already removed. So my problem is wheb i try to solder a new pin (taken from a doner cpu) it is either the solder does not melt enough or the whole area melts and the pins become doing all sorts of things and sometimes flies, and i end up with more pins to solder. (I was successful in soldering a lot of pins, my problen is with the method i guess, because at the end the whole cpu become burning hot. I might already have fried it. I dunno yet)
I am using hot air at 400 with speed from minimum to about 20%. A lot of flux, extremely thin tweezers made of titanium. And i tried to resolder the pins.
Any other ideas? Thanks
