I recently purchased a non-working working Blue Yeti microphone as a project. I read many posts relating to the mini USB being the trouble maker. First inspection the pins looked good. Plugging mic into any PC causes the mic power light to illuminate so its getting power, but windows throws an error as an unrecognizable device. I'm kinda thinking possible bad data line? I have since removed the mini USB the pins were undamaged and new ones should arrive tomorrow. Just wondering if any of you had the chance to work on one. I do have a working older one different board config this one is a revision 4.2 I was able to take the lower PCB and swap with known good and it was recognized so I have narrowed it down some.
