Is this normal?
I have a 4070 Super, B650 motherboard and a 7800X3D. Sometimes the system gets stuck on the VGA debug LED during boot.
I’ve had two different motherboards and it happened with both. With the first one, it happened quite often (around 1 in 5 boots), while with the current one it’s much rarer (maybe 1 in 30–40 boots). I’ve also tried a different CPU, so I don’t think the CPU is the issue.
The GPU itself works perfectly fine in games, stress tests, etc. I recently changed my PSU, though, and so far the issue hasn’t happened again.
Could a PSU actually cause this kind of issue while the system being perfectly stable during stress loads??, or is this most likely to be a GPU issue? Has anyone had a similar experience where changing the PSU fixed VGA debug LED issues?
If anyone has had a similar experience please let me know your thoughts😁
