The V2 microscope doesn't appear to have any sort of power on/off button.  Is it fine to leave it on all the time or should I unplug it when not in use?

Unplug the cable half way like I do every end of the day or connect to an outlet with a power switch. No reason to keep it on all the time.

That's exactly what I've been doing (unplugging it halfway).  I'll just keep doing that.  Thanks!

@alex Does your Micropscope run on 220V?  I live in a 220V country and love your scope.

@jason-moorealmaty-qsi-org You can use any 12v Min 1A input. The included power adapter supports 110V-240V and plugs in to USA outlets.

Love the V2 microscope.   Question, when I leave it plugged in using a power strip with a power switch and turn it off, a red light blinks.

Is this a problem?  Will it run a battery down?  I just don't want wear and tear on the power jack.
