Hi everyone,
I have an ASUS Nitro mainboard with the dreaded shorted PCH chip (FH82HM470 SRJAU). I don't see Alex bother with these repairs very often but just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a BGA rework station that can handle the task. Will probably only use the tool 6 times a year so not looking to spend a ton of money.

A decent hot plate and hot air station would get this off no trouble. I've removed plenty of CPU and GPU with a small hand held wand and hot plate. It's all about the prep and preheat.
