I have Sony VAIO Win XP with two seagate internal hard drives. One 500 GB and one Smaller. The 500 quit spinning. I took voltmeter and measurements on the three leads into the motor of each drive with power connected. Both showed similar voltage readings even though one was spinning and one was not?? What should the voltages be for spinning and for not spinning? The power in has two -5.1 volts and one +7.1 volts. Any help will be appreciated.
