I replaced the display with a Lenovo display, old display was damaged but worked with black lines so it had data and a blacklist.

I replaced the display with a factory unit and I didn't unplug the battery. Upon restart, I have no power, no charging LED, no keyboard lights....nothing. I tried the 1 min power button method, unplugged CMOS battery, still nothing. 

I removed the motherboard and these 2 components under the PSU input look to be maybe a diode and a fuse? Neither have continuity. 

Am I close on this repair, please advise...thanks.
