Hello,

my display for my HP Envy x360 15-eu0178ng didn't work, so I wanted to replace it with a new display. The power LED was lighting up and the fans were running.

As soon as I unplugged the display cable from the laptop's motherboard, the motherboard seems dead. No power LED.

Would it make sense if I let replace the eDP connector on the motherboard?
