A quick search for "NKG 009 27.000" yelds better results than the one found on the GTX1070

So, what's happening is the GPU core is just sitting there halted not being able to refresh the VRAM (video memory), it will only just respond enough to the system clock from the processor off of the motherboard enough for Windblows to see it there

(The thing that caught my eye was the part of the title "COAX Cable Mod" just screamed "External Clock mod" and looking at the picture I can't help to think "dang, couldn't they do better with the ground isolation?", anyways, they were using an external clock generator that required Coax grade isolation for the fast speeds, probably to sync all four cards to clock at the same exact time)

I was having a terrible time finding a decent picture of the writing on the metal can that is on the 980 (I wasn't looking at the 1070 as there could be a varyance that I just want to avoid)

(I'm new to this forum but I've worked a good amount of cellular phones, tablets, laptops, desktops and vehicles)

Cards that have had their Y1 chips removed and a COAX Cable put in it's place. All of the cards turn on and show up in device manager, they just don't have a display out. I would like to know what the Y1 chip does exactly, as I can't find any information on it online, and also where the best place to get replacements would be. I used an EVGA GTX 1070 FTW with the same Y1 chip to get the numbers on it, which are "27-0 DBV ID". Thanks!
