I have charged batteries via radio and left it connected to USB power when I could. I leave it my truck on sun visor M-F and with me over weekends. One morning it wouldn't turn on. Then tried USB power in vehicle, still will not turn on, I put fresh batteries, still wouldn't turn on. I was told to send the radio in to Uniden for the RTC battery. I verify its covered and it was, got UPS label then COVID LOCKDOWN everyone was MIA. I tried uniden but cant get back to me asking if the label is still valid cause they shut down the RTC campaign.
