PSU failure - Repair Questions https://northridgefix.com/forum/repair/psu-failure/ NorthridgeFix Discussion Board en-US Sat, 15 Aug 2026 00:11:41 +0000 wpForo 60 PSU failure https://northridgefix.com/forum/repair/psu-failure/#post-1910 Sat, 26 Oct 2024 19:27:11 +0000 I purchased a ps5 a week and a half ago which was crashing and having artifacts, and I replaced the psu and all issues stopped and the ps5 was running perfect no artifacts no crashing even fidelity was on and was running beautifully, yesterday artifacting and crashing started again assuming it's the PSU again but I'm not sure why it's killing power supplies off so quick the one I replaced it with was claimed to be genuine checked and working fine which it was however I'm unsure on the genuine part. What would be the best cause of action to check for a shortage possibly that's drawing excessive current
