I am from Baja California, Mexico, I am interested in sending the camera to your facilities.<br />The camera has never been opened or tampered with.<br />I really liked the video where the card slot of a canon RP camera is replaced.</p>

<p data-start="55" data-end="252">I took my iPad from its case and placed it on my desktop's system unit to charge. I saw that it was charging initially, but when I checked later, it was completely dead and wouldn’t turn on.</p>
<p data-start="254" data-end="415">I tried using a different charging outlet, but it still isn’t charging. I’m unsure if the magnet in the system unit might have caused any damage to the iPad.</p>
<p data-start="417" data-end="476">Please let me know if you have any suggestions or advice.</p>

<p>I have a MacBook air M2 and I have purchased another logic board with Touch ID included.<br />This would have been an upgrade from 8GB/256GB to 24GB/1TB by swapping the board and button.</p>
<p>I swapped out both the board and the included button and Touch ID worked fine but True Tone was missing.<br />I then run apple diagnostic and it complained about the ambient light sensor.</p>
<p>I was unaware of this limitation so to see if light sensor still works I swapped back the <strong>OLD</strong> logic board but left the <strong>NEW</strong> Touch ID in the cassis.<br />After that I have run apple diagnostic again and the ambient sensor issue was gone now it complained about Touch ID.<br />Of course I expected this since the <strong>OLD</strong> board was running with the <strong>NEW</strong> button.</p>
<p>Then I reinstalled the <strong>OLD</strong> touch ID and accidentally installed the <strong>NEW</strong> logic board with it.<br />They just look the same. I mixed them up mistakenly.<br />I realised it but run an apple diagnostic regardless just to see what happens.</p>
<p>So of course as expected the Touch ID did not work nor the ambient sensor and True Tone.</p>
<p>To summarise what happened.</p>
<p>I run the <strong>NEW</strong> logic board with the <strong>OLD</strong> Touch ID and run apple diagnostic.<br />I run the <strong>OLD</strong> logic board with the <strong>NEW</strong> Touch ID and run apple diagnostic.</p>
<p><span>After this, neither of the logic boards accepted either of the Touch IDs.</span><br />They don't seem to be damaged at all in any way.</p>
<p>Since the Touch ID connect to the sub logic board, I thought may be I damaged the flex cable between the logic board and the sub logic board, or the sub logic board itself got a fault.<br />So I have then sourced another Macbook air M2 that WORKED FINE except the screen was broken.<br />Removed the logic board and Touch ID and put them away... far away.<br />Let's name them <strong>LAST</strong> logic board and <strong>LAST</strong> Touch ID.<br />That had a sub logic board and a flex cable verified working so I kept those in there.</p>
<p>Then installed the <strong>OLD</strong> logic board and <strong>OLD</strong> Touch ID.<br />Touch ID still does not work.</p>
<p>Then installed the <strong>NEW</strong> logic board and <strong>NEW</strong> Touch ID.<br />Touch ID still does not work.</p>
<p>Just in case I mixed up the buttons I then tried all other combination.<br /><strong>OLD</strong> board and believed <strong>OLD</strong> button.<br /><strong>OLD</strong> board and believed <strong>NEW</strong> button.<br /><strong>NEW</strong> board and believed <strong>OLD</strong> button.<br /><strong>NEW</strong> board and believed <strong>NEW</strong> button.</p>
<p>F**K! Then I drank a whiskey.. </p>
<p>Reinstalled <strong>LAST</strong> logic board with <strong>LAST</strong> Touch ID and that one still works fine.</p>
<p>So it seems like by mixing up the logic board and Touch ID blocks the functionality even if you later reinstall the correct board with the correct button. Or may be running apple diagnostic caused this not just simply macOS.</p>
<p>Question time...</p>
<p>Did any one experienced anything like this before?</p>
<p>Is there a fix for the issue?</p>
<p>Do you have any ideas what to try?</p>
<p>I already tried DFU restore the <strong>OLD</strong> board with <strong>OLD</strong> button. Touch ID still does not work.</p>

However if you do a very specific procedure that follows have a windows installation media usb inserted have m.2 in machine when powering on, after a couple seconds before motherboard screen is reached unplug m.2 from motherboard, let pc boot to win installers, plug in m.2 then hit refresh on the drives window, drive and its partitions show up. If the drive isn’t plugged in during power on then plugged in while the win installers is open the machine will recognize the drive. Is there any method I can use to recover data from it as there are very important files on it. Thanks</p>]]></content:encoded>
