Now that I have schematics, It looks like these are avalanche type or TVS diodes.  Likely reversed biased so as to have little effect on the circuit in normal operation.  They are used shunt excess current once the breakdown or threshold voltage is crossed.  I would tnd to think that it should work without them.  My concern would be if say a static shock were to hit one of the pins.  <br /><br />--chris</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p>I have a 2 questions.I was changing the Xbox Series X retimer chip and I accidently dropped it and knocked off 2 components.</p>
<p>One of them is a Capacitor C704(Number one on picture) which I need to know the value and the second one marked EG41, I don't know what it is(Number 2 on picture).</p>
<p>Also it would be good to know the C52 value as well.</p>
